My name is Katherine Shearin, and I am a senior at East Carolina University majoring in Environmental Studies and Community & Regional Planning. I am so excited to embark on this journey of learning about local food systems and urban agriculture in South Korea. My majors and upbringing on a farm have made me particularly interested in learning more about local food systems and urban agriculture .
